Sick Child Policy

We strive to maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment in all of our children's classrooms.  Although we realize, as parents, we cannot always know when our children are becoming ill or contagious, we ask that you follow these guidelines to hopefully keep the spread of contagious illnesses/diseases to a minimum.

If your child is exhibiting any of the following symptoms, please keep them home:

- Fever greater than 100

- Cough

- Questionable Rash

- Diarrhea

- Nausea or Vomiting

- Green colored nasal discharge

- Pinkeye

- Chicken Pox

- Skin or parasitic infections (head lice, ring worm, impetigo, etc.)

If your child is being treated with antibiotics, he/she should be on the drug for at least 24 hours before entering the classroom.  Likewise, a child should be fever free (without the use of fever reducers) for 24 hours before entering the classroom. Our team members do not administer medications.

If a child is brought to their class and exhibits any of the aforementioned symptoms, you will be asked not to place the child in the classroom.  If a child becomes ill while in their class, you will be paged immediately, using our Secure Electronic Paging System.

Thank you for your cooperation! We are praying everyone is well and able to attend each Sunday!
